Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, across Victoria’s South Eastern coast.
With head office at Wonthaggi Hospital, we serve the municipality with facilities in San Remo & Cowes, and dozens of staff on the road to wherever we’re needed.

Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Grade 1 or 2 Pharmacist to join our busy and growing Pharmacy Department. As a member of the team you will play an important role in providing clinical pharmacy services to the health service. This will include rotations in the pharmacy department, acute ward, subacute ward and hospital in the home (HITH). There is also the opportunity to work in the haematology/oncology day infusion unit and emergency department depending on level of experience. This role also has a wide scope for career development and professional growth.
Requirements of the position are:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree with registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions
- Demonstrated adequate level of clinical knowledge, communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to instruct and supervise to Pharmacy Technicians, Intern Pharmacists and students
- The ability to be flexible and work varying start and finish times, days of work (including weekends) as required

Selection Criteria |
